PROVIDENCE, R.I. (May 7, 2020) — Women’s Fund of Rhode Island (WFRI), a leader in the movement to improve policies that impact women and girls in Rhode Island, will be holding a virtual panel discussion on Thursday, May 21, from 5 pm-6 pm to energize voters. The discussion topics include what it means to live in a democracy, how to protect our democracy, resources for people to help protect our voting rights, and how to support candidates in times of COVID-19.
The panelists include:
– Erin Vilardi from Vote Run Lead
– Taylor Dumpson, Law Student and anti-defamation activist
– Vimala Phongsavanh, Congressional Progressive Caucus Center
The event is co-hosted by Rhode Island College (RIC).
