PROVIDENCE, R.I. (March 2, 2020) – The Women’s Fund of Rhode Island (WFRI), a leader in the movement to improve policies that impact women and girls in Rhode Island, today announced the organization will be holding a panel: Politically Engaged Art to address how women are using different artistic media to talk about relevant political issues. This panel falls under our year of celebrating civic engagement while commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment. In addition to the panel discussion, we will be displaying banners details the history of voting rights and women’s movements at the RADical Women Exhibit in the: URI Feinstein Providence Campus Lobby Gallery.
