PAWTUCKET, RHODE ISLAND (February 6, 2014) – Narragansett Bay Insurance Company (“NBIC”) announced today that Timothy Moura has been named the company’s Senior Vice President, Marketing, Agency and Client Services. Mr. Moura will develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to promote the expansion of NBIC’s homeowners insurance market along the Eastern Seaboard.
In this position, Mr. Moura will also be responsible for the development and oversight of agency relationships to advance the company’s overall business objectives. “Tim’s extensive management experience, coupled with his success in establishing effective producer relationships, will help to maintain and enhance our market share along the East Coast,” said Todd Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Narragansett Bay Insurance.
Mr. Moura has close to twenty years of experience in the insurance field. He most recently served as Vice President, Business Development, Commercial Lines for Tower Group Companies, where he successfully managed relationships with top national producers and exceeded growth objectives. He previously worked as Vice President, Underwriting and Product Management, Personal Lines for Tower Group Companies, and was also Regional Vice President, Personal Lines for OneBeacon Insurance Group.
Mr. Moura received his MBA from Bryant University and his BA from Clark University.
