The New Hampshire Association of Insurance Agents (NHAIA), the state’s predominant association of insurance agents, announced its Board of Directors for 2013-2014. Elections were held at the association’s 114th annual convention held at Mt. Washington Hotel in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. Senator Kelly Ayotte appeared via video to congratulate the officers.
Bryan Bernier, of Eaton & Berube Insurance Agency was elected Chairman of the Board. Mr. Bernier was joined by Christopher Worcester of Hometown Insurance Agency as Chairman of the Board-Elect, and William Infantine of Aspen Insurance Agency as Vice Chairman. Charles Hamlin, of Infantine/Cross Insurance Agency, serves as Immediate Past Chairman, and Dean Merrill of Tobey & Merrill of Hampton, NH, will continue to serve as New Hampshire’s National Director to the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (IIABA).
The NHAIA 2013-2014 Board of Directors also will retain 2012-2013 members: Matthew Barrett of Barrett Insurance; Robert Bethel of Rowley Agency; Gregory Eastman of Hunkins & Eaton Agency; Barbara DeStefano of People’s United Insurance Agency; Christopher Snow of Bernier and Snow Insurance; and Beth Needham of Eaton & Berube Insurance Agency. The NHAIA was pleased to welcome new board members Kathy Batchelder of Clark-Mortenson Agency; April McBriarty-Weismann of HPM Insurance; Steven Wainwright of Cross Insurance; and Randall Wentworth of Chalmers Insurance Group.
Robert L. Nash, President of NHAIA, continues as the staff representative to the Board of Directors, and Thomas Minkler of Clark-Mortenson Agency, a member of the IIABA Executive Committee, will remain as liaison to the New Hampshire association.
Bryan Bernier, who has 12 years of experience in the insurance industry, was pleased to accept the title of Board Chair, “It is an honor to be a part of this organization and I look forward to continue serving on the board,” he said. “As chair, I will remain an advocate for Trusted Choice® and promote the importance of working with a local agent, so customers can experience the value of the Trusted Choice® brand.”
