EAST PROVIDENCE, RI – Rhode Island Medical Imaging (RIMI) is pleased to announce that Matthew Forte, MD has joined its qualified team of physicians at RIMI’s Rhode Island Vascular Institute. With ten years of experience in the field of radiology, including endovascular, mammography and neuroradiology, Dr. Forte brings a wealth of knowledge in the field of vascular medicine.
“We believe the addition of Dr. Forte to RIMI’s medical staff will serve to further enhance the services and care offered at the Rhode Island Vascular Institute,” said Dr. Gregory Soares, director of the Rhode Island Vascular Institute. “As we continue to research and implement innovative ways to improve patient outcomes, we believe this starts with maintaining a board certified staff that is second to none. We welcome Dr. Forte and look forward to utilizing his expertise in all facets of radiology to the betterment of our patients,” he said.
Prior to joining RIMI, Dr. Forte was Medical Director of the Vascular Access Center of North Jersey, and also served as Section Chief of Vascular & Interventional Radiology at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in New Jersey. He holds licenses in Rhode Island, New Jersey and New York, and maintains a Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology and a CAQ in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Forte is also a member of the American College of Phlebology; the American College of Radiology; the American Medical Association; and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
RIMI radiologists hold faculty positions at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and subspecialize in all areas of medical imaging, including women’s imaging; bone, joint and muscle imaging; neurology; cardiology; and pediatrics. Furthermore, RIMI radiologists are on staff at Rhode Island Hospital, Women & Infants, Hasbro Children’s Hospital and The Miriam Hospital.
