Affiliation enables Brown Urology to expand quality services to all of Rhode Island and parts of Massachusetts
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (May 21, 2020) — Brown Urology is excited to announce it’s growing again. Effective May 18, the urologists, physician assistants, and staff of Urological Specialists of New England joined Brown Urology.
“USNE is a very busy, well-established and highly regarded community urology practice serving the West Bay and Northern Rhode Island. The Brown Urology providers have had long-standing referral relationships with these physicians, which will only be strengthened by this affiliation.” According to Dr. Mark Sigman of Brown Urology.
USNE’s seven urologists, two PAs, and more than 30 staff members are located in the main office in West Warwick and three other locations in Woonsocket, Johnston, and Cranston. They will continue to practice out of those current locations, as well as Kent, Women and Infants, and Landmark Hospitals.
“While USNE’s name will change to Brown Urology, our patients can expect to receive the same quality care from the same providers and locations they’ve come to know,” said Dr. Angelo Cambio of USNE.
“These 2 great physician practices are coming together to better serve the people of Rhode Island and Southern New England. “ said Matt Uustal, Executive Director Brown Urology.
This affiliation will allow Brown Urology, now the largest independent urology practice in New England and recognized as one of the top urology practices in the country, to provide patient care from South County and Newport to Woonsocket and Attleboro. The expanded Brown Urology practice will be able to provide every subspecialty urologic service from 8 convenient locations and at 8 hospitals in Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts.
