East Providence, RI – Rhode Island Medical Imaging announced that John A. Pezzullo, MD, will serve as president of the Board of Directors, Peter Evangelista, MD has been elected Treasurer, and Terrence Healey, MD will serve as Secretary.

Dr. John A. Pezzullo was recently elected President of Rhode Island Medical Imaging. Dr. Pezzullo has been on the Board of Directors since 2007 and a member of RIMI since July 2000.  He holds an MD from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and an MS from Boston University. Dr. Pezzullo is also an Associate Professor (clinical) at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Peter Evangelista was recently elected Treasurer of the Board of Directors for Rhode Island Medical Imaging.  Dr. Evangelista has been on the Board of Directors since 2013 and a member of RIMI since 2004. He holds an MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed his residency at Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Evangelista completed a combined musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess and New England Baptist Hospitals.  He is an Assistant Professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and is Director of Musculoskeletal Radiology at Rhode Island Hospital.

Dr. Terrance Healey was recently elected Board of Directors’ Secretary for Rhode Island Medical Imaging.  Dr. Healey has been on the Board of Directors since January 2014 and a member of RIMI since July 2009.  He holds an MD from the combined Dartmouth College-Brown University program in Medicine, and completed his residency at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Healey went on to complete a fellowship in thoracic radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Healey is an Assistant Professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and is the Director of Thoracic Radiology at Rhode Island Hospital.
